Lord,

 

I come to you today carrying the heavy weight of a mistake made at work. My mind keeps returning to it, and my spirit feels unsettled.

 

Help me to remember that I am human, and that perfection is not required to be worthy, capable, or valued. Grant me the courage to take honest accountability for what happened to face the error clearly, fix what can be fixed, and learn what needs to be learned.

 

Please grant me the grace of self-forgiveness. Remind me that dwelling on yesterday’s misstep does not undo it; it only clouds my vision and drains the energy I need for today. If I remain anchored in regret, I risk losing the focus required to do my best work right now.

 

I choose to release the burden of this mistake. I trade my anxiety for a clear mind and a steady hand. May this experience build my wisdom, not erode my confidence.

Give me the strength to look forward, the focus to do my job with excellence, and the peace that comes from knowing that every day is a fresh opportunity to build, grow, and succeed.
