A Prayer for Peace Amidst the Chaos of Work

 

 

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

 

Lord Jesus,

You who knew the weight of daily labor, the heat of the day, and the demands of the crowd, I come before you now with a heart that feels overwhelmed. The days are hectic, the tasks are many, and the noise of the world is loud.

 

I ask you, Lord, to pour out your mercy upon me. In the midst of this busy workplace, be my refuge and my strength.

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28)

 

Jesus, I ask that you gently slow the chaos that surrounds me today. Command the raging winds of my anxieties to be still. Grant me, even if just for a few moments, the grace to catch my breath, to quiet my mind, and to regain my focus.

Help me to see my work not as a burden, but as a way to glorify You. Guide my hands, clear my thoughts, and order my steps so that I may handle each task with patience, efficiency, and peace. When the pressure mounts, remind me that Your grace is sufficient for me.

 

Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place my trust in You.

Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for me.

St. Joseph the Worker, pray for me.
