Heavenly Father,

You know the depth of a parent’s love, because You are the perfect Father. You see the hidden corners of my heart where these heavy regrets live—the missed bedtimes, the empty chairs at missed dinners, and the ache of special occasions I couldn't be there to share. Lord, my heart heavy when I think of the missed hugs and the times I let an opportunity slip away to simply tell them, "I love you."

Please grant me the grace to see that this deep ache is not a sign that I failed, but proof of how fiercely I love. When love is this vast, it always feels like it wasn't enough.

Remind me that no parent walks this path without guilt, and that I am part of a great, imperfect cloud of mothers and fathers doing their best in a fractured world. Calm my racing thoughts. Soften the harsh judgments I hold against myself, and help me believe that the love I gave was real, felt, and foundational. Cover those missed moments with Your abundant grace, lighten this heavy burden tonight, and replace it with Your perfect peace.

Amen.
